Information you provide
We receive information you choose to submit, including your name, email address, company, project details, delivery information, saved rug designs, quote requests, and account information. If you contact us directly, we also receive the contents of that correspondence.
How we use it
- To create and manage your MAJLIS account and project workspace.
- To review rug specifications, prepare quotes, and communicate about production or delivery.
- To provide support, samples, warranty service, and responses to inquiries.
- To protect the website, accounts, and ordering process from misuse.
Service providers
MAJLIS uses service providers to operate parts of the website and business. Account authentication and saved project information may be processed through Supabase. Embedded production films are hosted by YouTube; YouTube may receive technical information when its player loads or when you interact with it. Shipping, payment, and production partners receive information only as needed to complete an approved order or service request.
Cookies and local storage
The website may use browser storage to remember account state, saved designs, and interface preferences. Third-party services embedded in the site may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their respective policies.
Website measurement
We measure page visits, broad device categories, campaign labels, time with a page visible, selected website actions, and loading, responsiveness, layout stability, and error counts. A temporary random identifier in session storage links activity within a browser tab, with a 30-minute inactivity window. We do not send form contents, account identifiers, full referring URLs, advertising click IDs, or IP addresses into this internal metrics dataset. Our hosting provider may separately process technical logs.
Internal observations are stored with Netlify for up to 90 days; daily aggregates are retained for up to 13 months. Internal reports are sent through Resend. Internal measurement respects Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and the browser choice below. Browser blockers and these choices can limit the completeness of our reports.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to support an active client relationship, or to meet business and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information in our care, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with your MAJLIS account, subject to information we need to retain for completed transactions or legal obligations. Email hello@majliseditions.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
